On magical days, the writing process is akin to scuba — you dive into in a fresh world, paddle toward the current, and with luck, shine light on exciting new discoveries.
To prepare for this adventure, I’ve got:
- An MA in professional and technical communication from the University of North Texas
- A BA with honors in English, phi beta kappa, from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey
- 15+ years of staff and freelance writing, editing, consulting, and teaching roles
I’m currently collaborating on a book to be published by Revel/Baker in 2020 (thanks, Leah Spiro of Riverside Creative Management!) and gathering thread on a creative nonfiction project.
When not at the computer, I’m savoring veggie-friendly delicacies or walking Bernie, our rescue dog. My husband and I also cater to Sven, a formerly feral cat.
