My name is Wendy Lyons Sunshine and I partner with experts on books, lead editorial teams, and contribute to publications large and small.

My idea of fun is wrestling ornery sentences. Tangoing with verbs and unmasking pronouns. But most fun of all is discovering and sharing stories that improve lives.

I write for major outlets like The New York Times, AARP Magazine, and ScientificAmerican.com as well as smaller venues like D CEO, Inside Your Dog’s Mind, and Sarasota Scene. Over the years, I’ve also co-authored a bestseller, prepared proposals that garnered millions, taught writing at colleges, and consulted with nonprofits including Mothers Against Drunk Driving and University of South Florida Health.

Whether I’m crafting content, digging for data, interviewing sources, developing story ideas, or editing a draft, I’m driven by one question:

How can this material best serve the reader?
