I’m Wendy Lyons Sunshine, an award-winning freelance writer and editor who specializes in stories that benefit individuals, families, communities, and ecosystems.

I helped write a bestseller, taught writing at colleges, and have consulted for nonprofits like Mothers Against Drunk Driving and University of South Florida Health. I’ve led editorial teams in Texas and the New York City area, developed websites, and currently edit Sarasota Scene, a community magazine with a philanthropic bent.
